Shamu has passed away...9/9/2009

Sorry for the delay in letting everyone know about Shamu. He passed away unexpectedly on 9/9/2009-possibly had his stomach twist inside of his ribcage and caused bloating. That is what the vet said? Didn't know where my passwords were to get back on here, finally remembered them. Lots of other things have been going on, too. I may leave this sight up for a while, but will not be posting to it anymore. Hope everyone enjoyed it.

Waiting On Mom

Sometimes I just wish mom didn't have to work...it is soo boring waiting for her to get done. Guess I will just sit in this chair, look away, and maybe she will feel sorry for me...what do you think?

This is definitely different! Don't know how she keeps her dogs from getting out and chasing the turtles...but guess a leg in the door blocks them. (We would go nuts trying to get at those turtles to see what they are up to if they were in our yard!)

Rainy Days and Mondays...woohoo

Today we finally got rain!!! Prissy and I will be inside today plotting against the cats. (Not really, we like them.) More likely, we will probably be snoozing most of the day away. Mom swears that we snore...I just don't believe it. She claims that she is going to tape record us one day and put it on the blog, just to prove it to us both that it is true! She says we snore louder than a man sometimes.

Mom also claims that those strange noises that happen sometimes are my fault. I will be laying there and all of a sudden I will hear this strange noise behind me...I jump to see what it is. Whenever mom stops laughing so hard, she claims that I am the one who made that noise! How dare she!I have dignity, I would not make strange noises!!! You know, there is always strange smell right after that noise, too...still haven't figured that out? But, I have made it my job to find that culprit and settle this once and for all!

Happy Fourth of July

This is the weekend to celebrate for humans, I on the other hand do not particularly enjoy fireworks. Scares the bark right out of me!!! People around here can get crazy with those fireworks. We live in town..so they are not supposed to shoot them off here, but they continue to do it. Mom likes watching them for some reason??? I don't understand why we have to stand outside with a water hose hooked up when they start shooting those chaser things? I jumped up on Mom last year and almost knocked her over trying to get her back inside to safety! She says it has something to do with our house being wood....??? They did start a fire in the neighbor's yard last year with those things, so I guess that has something to do with it, too. So, if you enjoy loud bangs and flashes, have fun...I will be inside!!! (unless Mom goes outside...ugh!)

This is wrong on so many levels!

I was checking out some websites and you will not believe what I saw... just look at this injustice..."Halle Berry hugging an imposter!!!!" I AM THE REAL SHAMU...how dare that imposter take my hugs!!! (They are much bigger than I am, so guess I won't raise too much of a ruckus with them...don't think mom is big enough to protect me from that animal! Also, don't want to be that animal's lunch!) But, come on...you have to admit, I am much cuter, softer, and not soaking wet. (Okay, sometimes I am soaking wet...but that is beside the point.) Well, she just doesn't know what she missed.
